No, it is not 100% natural — but it is 100% safe.

Our facewash is made mainly from natural herbal powders like rice, tamarind, tomato, clay, and reetha.
To give a smooth foaming effect, we add a coconut-derived gentle cleanser called SCI.

*So what exactly is SCI?*

SCI (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate) is a naturally-derived ingredient made from:

Coconut oil fatty acids (natural component) and
Isethionate (the part that is synthetically processed)

This means:

👉 The source is natural (coconut)
👉 The processing involves a mild synthetic step
👉 The final ingredient is gentle, safe, and highly skin-friendly

How much of SCI is synthetic?

SCI is roughly:

* 70–80% derived from natural coconut
* 20–30% processed using synthetic isethionate*

So in your product, the part that is “synthetic” is ONLY the small portion of SCI used to bind coconut fatty acids into a foaming ingredient.

This does not make it a harsh chemical —
it is simply a mild, safe, coconut-based cleanser created through a clean process.

Why it is NOT a harsh chemical

SCI is completely different from SLS, SLES, or harsh detergents.

It does not:

I have got Kalki Brightening Scrub 25g & Sinamika Detan Face Wash 25g
Both the products are natural….in powder form and smooth on skin even the srcub particles are soft.
So I use Kalki srub then wash my face with Sinamika face wash…..it has improved my texture alot…love it ??
